In Memoriam...
Sept. 11, 1997 - January 3,2010

It is with a broken heart we tell you of the news of our Benny's passing today on January 3, 2010, at 3:30 pm.  Benny died as he lived...with dignity and on his own terms. He was not in pain, but he fought valiantly to live. As we gave him every chance to stay with us, his great and precious heart ceased beating and Benny died in my arms.We were together till the end...and he was surrounded by love.

We realized from the start that this Great and Mighty Warrior with the Gentle Soul was a very special loan from God. We thought we could be content to give him even a month of retirement. Little could we know HOW MUCH this AMAZING Benny would change our lives. We will NEVER be the same...and TWO LIFETIMES would not be enough to share with our Special Boy. Hug those that you love...both human and animal... each day...cherish even the mundane moments for life is fleeting. Let there be no room for regrets.

Rest in Peace, Our Darling Benny...Mighty Warrior and Faithful Friend. Your Mission is Accomplished and your job is well done. FOREVER we will love you!

THE PRECIOUS MEMORIES OF OUR TIME TOGETHER WILL NEVER END...
SO Many PEOPLE and SO many PLACES...
YOU touched So MANY HEARTS...
You CHANGED Our WORLD...
And made us appreciate the small things...
You had such GRACE and DIGNITY...
You showed us how to LOVE...
You taught us EXCELLENCE...
You gave part of your HEART to us all...
You were an EXAMPLE of why "DOG" is "GOD" spelled backwards...
It was an honor to be your MASTER, your PARTNER, your FRIEND...
How we miss your SMILE and your JOY...
                                  How PROUD you made us!
How HONORED we were to be walking on your right...
How we TRULY ADORED you...our DEAR, PRECIOUS BENNY!!!

There can be no "Goodbye!" for we know that we will see you again ,..your eyes shining and your face eagerly smiling that doggy smile we knew SO well. Until we meet again by the Rainbow Bridge, guard Heaven's gates well and share your unique love with all God's Children.
We miss you more than you could ever know...the softness of your fur, the warmth of our shared hugs, the wet kissses on my cheek. You have    your Forever Place in our hearts, and because we met you...we will        never be the same. We felt not worthy of the complete devotion you       gave us every day...Oh Benny, you were such a Gallant Gentleman,          Faithful Friend, Fearless Guardian and Gentle, Mighty Warrior.
Thank you for every day of your tender love, Dearest Benny.

Rest in Peace, Mighty Warrior and Gentle Friend.
Your Life was well-lived and your Mission Accomplished. You were God's Magnificent Creation, and we will Forever miss you.                   O, Rest in Peace, Precious Friend!
