Although heartfelt, the words seem so inadequate. We thank you and your partner for all the
you spent together patrolling...scouting...inspecting...seeking...detecting... and keeping us
safe from the "Bad Guys" in the night...preservingour liberties and our way of life.
Your sacrifices have always been many, your heroism real and unexaggerated, your devotion
to God, Country and each other unflagging. You loved each other even though many times
you knew it wouldn't be forever. True courage is taking the risk to love as you did with no
guarantee of forever.
"Just doing my job" is what you're thinking. No, you did...and do more than just your jobs...
ABOVE and BEYOND...committed in mind, body and HEART... how can we ever fully say
"Thanks"? The truth is "Thanks" will never be enough...
May the BOND that only you and your partner can reallyunderstand be a lifelong source of joy,
pride, happiness and healing...for that BOND which few share or understand is the purest
definition of true selfless love. But YOU TWO KNOW...FOREVER you will be in each other's hearts... FOREVER...HOW CAN WE THANK YOU ???
